Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) and Speed Sensors

Testing the Speed sensors.

If install new sensors here are some details.

The CHT sensor connector is the top white plug in attached image.  If cleaning doesn't work you can test - resistance somewhere in region of 2-4 Kilohms (maybe more out in the cold) would be about right.

This link has the best write up about the sensors locations and removal with wires.

Sensor part numbers.
Old number 911-606-215-00 and replaced by 911-606-215-01. see below from Porsche official website.

Pictures are showing speed sensor with harness going through the grommet between the engine bay and outside where the sensor location.
The grommet contains 3 wire harness which are speed, reference and temperature sensors.

This is the tool I used to remove the grommet.
